Interior Ministry on expatriates working in travel agencies

Director-General of Relations and Guidance at the Ministry of Interior Dr. Saud bin Salih Al-Musaibeeh said today that reports of the detention of expatriates working in travel and tourism offices are being verified with the concerned authorities. The statement came following publications in Saudi newspapers concerning a number of cases of expatriates being detained by Saudization Committees during inspection tours. Dr. Al-Musaibeeh reiterated the government's resolve to implement regulations that provide jobs for Saudi citizens, and called on all travel and tourism companies and institutions to cooperate with the Saudization Committees in a positive manner by opening up job opportunities for Saudi citizens within the Saudization plans of the various sectors.
