KACST organizes seminar on Arab research

Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, in an address read on his behalf to a seminar on Arab research by Governor of Riyadh Province Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, stressed the need for "fruitful cooperation" among the various scientific organizations in Arab countries. The Crown Prince made reference to Saudi Arabia's 20-year national plan for the development of science and technology, expressing the hope that it will realize the hopes and aspirations of the Kingdom's leadership and people.

The three-day seminar, which began on April 11, is the third to be organized by the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) in association with the Arab Science and Technology Foundation (ASTF); its title is ‘Science and Technology are the key to achieving the development of human resources in the Arab world’. In his speech, ASTF Chairman Dr. Abdullah Abdulaziz Al-Najjar called for greater investment in the science and technology sectors.
