The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz received here today Head of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization Dr. Mahmood Abbas, Palestinian Premier Dr. Ahmed Qurei and their accompanying delegation.

The meeting reviewed the latest developments in the occupied territories.  King Fahd restated Saudi Arabia’s commitment to the Palestinian cause and Palestinian people to enable them to regain their legitimate rights and the establish their independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.  The Palestinian delegation arrived in the Kingdom earlier in the day and were met by Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Region; Shura Council officials and Palestinian Ambassador to the Kingdom Mustafa Hashim Alsheikh Deeb.
