Shura Council approves amendment of naturalization law

The Consultative Council (Majlis-Al-Shura), in its regular session today presided over by Chairman Shaikh Dr. Salih bin Homaid, approved amendment of the Saudi Naturalization Law, to be submitted to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz as stipulated in the Council's regulations. The amendment concerns eight of the 38 articles, which deal with such issues as the conditions for granting Saudi nationality to a foreigner, and the situation of a naturalized foreigner's wife and children.
