The Ministry of Interior has reported that at 7:30 a.m. this morning, four gunmen opened fire randomly at a company headquarters and a residential complex in the town of Al-Khobar in the Eastern Province. They then entered a residential complex, where security forces cornered them in one of the buildings. The situation is ongoing. As of this report, there have been deaths and injuries to a number of citizens and foreign residents. Details and new developments will be given in a subsequent statement.
