Chambers of Commerce to set up WTO Center

The Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CSCCI) will set up early next year a center to provide technical and support services to Saudi businessmen in preparation for the Kingdom's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO). Tenders have been invited from various consultants, and a five-month feasibility study for the project will be conducted by the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran. The proposed center will function under the umbrella of CSCCI, and offer technical and other support to all business enterprises, whether agricultural, industrial, or commercial. It will also provide training, and Arabic translations of WTO documents and other reference material.
