Saudi exhibit opens at 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens

Vice President of Youth Welfare Prince Nawaf bin Faisal, who is heading the Kingdom’s team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, opened today the exhibit of Saudi culture organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information in cooperation with the Presidency of Youth Welfare and the Saudi Olympics Committee. Displays, together with publications and brochures, project Saudi Arabia's economic achievements and the history of its civilization as well as its accomplishments in sports. The exhibition also features the expansions undertaken at the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, and reflects Islam’s message of peace.
