Minister urges cooperation for 2004 census

Minister of Economy and Planning Khaled Al-Gosaibi has urged all citizens and foreign residents to cooperate in the 2004 national census which begins tomorrow and will continue for 15 days. The Central Department of Statistics is ready for the census, the third in the Kingdom's history, and is employing about 30,000 people in addition to inspectors and supervisors. Minister Al-Gosaibi stressed its importance in diagnosing the country’s demographic, economic and social features, and urged everyone to provide accurate information to those in charge of conducting the census.
