GCC holds third seminar on commercial fraud

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in cooperation with the Federation of GCC Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Riyadh's Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing in Riyadh tomorrow its third seminar on ‘Commercial Fraud and Piracy’. Delegates from government authorities and organizations as well as consumer protection societies, chambers of commerce and industry, universities, scientific research centers and private sector businesses are expected to attend. The seminar aims at activating recommendations which had been adopted earlier to combat commercial fraud and make consumers aware of its adverse impact on the national economy. Seminars are held every two years, in accordance with a decision of the GCC commerce ministers in September 2000.
