Prince Nayef visits wounded security officers

Minister of Interior Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz today visited the seven security officers hospitalized in the National Guard’s King Abdulaziz Medical City and in the Security Forces hospital following their injuries during yesterday’s armed confrontation with a group of militants in the Al-Nahda district of the city of Riyadh.

Speaking to the press afterwards, Prince Nayef expressed pride in the high morale of those injured, who are aware of the appreciation and gratitude extended to them by their leadership and the people. He expressed the hope that it will not be long before Saudi Arabia is rid of such groups, who dare to tamper with the nation’s security and breach the laws of God Almighty; and urged citizens and expatriates to cooperate with the authorities and pass on information on any suspicious movements they observe.

Governor of Riyadh Province Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz also visited the wounded officers, and commented that what these brave men have done is their duty, and a duty applicable to all citizens and to all Muslims.
