OIC reiterates support for Arab rights in Jerusalem

In a memorandum circulated to its member states, the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has reiterated its support for the United Nations resolutions pertaining to Arab and Muslim rights in Al-Quds [East Jerusalem], denouncing  Israel's actions in that city and its repeated aggression against Islamic sanctuaries such as the Al-Aqsa Mosque and declaring that this aggression constitutes a flagrant violation of the international resolutions. The memorandum pointed out that Al-Quds is an indivisible part of the occupied Palestinian territories, and should be restored to Palestinian sovereignty within a framework of any just settlement of the Middle East problem. The memorandum urged the OIC member states to rally other countries to put pressure on Israel to comply with the UN resolutions on Al-Quds.
