King Fahd arrives in Jeddah on way to Makkah for 1423 Hajj

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz arrived in Jeddah yesterday on his way to Makkah for the 1423 Hajj.

Meanwhile, as of February 5, a total of 1,311,058 pilgrims have arrived in the Kingdom from abroad, 135,871 by land, 22,975 by sea, and the rest by air. Among them are members of Arab and Islamic parliamentary and legislative councils from Asian and African countries, who are being hosted at King Fahd's personal expense. Today, President Dr. Ahmed Tijan Kabeh of Sierra Leone and President Abdullah Wad of Senegal arrived for Hajj.
