Prince Saud leaves Cairo after meeting with Egyptian President

Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal left Cairo today following his participation in the 119th conference of foreign ministers of the League of Arab States, and after meeting with Egyptian President Muhammad Hosni Mubarak, to whom he presented messages from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.  In a press statement, Prince Saud said he had discussed with President Mubarak the outcome of the conference, how to bring the situation in Iraq to a peaceful conclusion, and the general situation of the Arab world; and also the Palestinian crisis, efforts to revive the peace process, the creation of appropriate conditions for resuming negotiations, and how to halt Israel's aggression against the Palestinian people.
