Success of health care education program for childbirth

The Ministry of Health has successfully teamed up with private industry in a pre-natal and post-natal health care education program. The project, aimed at educating fathers and teachers as well as mothers-to-be, was given approval in line with government proposals that certain health programs can be handled by the private sector. The program currently reaches 350,000 new mothers each year, with about 85 percent of the Kingdom's hospitals provided with the literature.
