King Fahd undergoes eye surgery in Riyadh

The Royal Court issued a statement today that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz was admitted yesterday to King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh to undergo an operation for the removal of a cataract from his left eye, and that the surgery was successfully carried out this morning. King Fahd underwent a similar operation on his right eye at the University Hospital of Geneva in Switzerland on July 29, 2002.
