The first Saudi-funded water treatment plant was inaugurated today in Baghdad as part of the Saudi Committee Program for Providing Relief to the Iraqi People.  The plant, installed at a Baghdad hospital, is one of ten water purification plants that will be installed by the Kingdom in different parts of Iraq.  The capacity of the plant is 2 million liters [527, 800 gallons] of water per day.
