Saudi aid arrives in Kosovo and in Gaza

The Joint Committee for the Relief of Kosovo has presented a number of minibuses to kindergartens and nurseries in Pristina and Metrovitsa.

The Committee sponsors orphans, presents seasonal gifts, and organizes outings as well as providing medical services, and has established a printing press to fulfill the need for items such as medical publications, stationery, health forms and doctors' prescriptions.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Supply of the Palestinian Authority announced today that it had received in Gaza the first shipment of this year's sacrificial meat offered to needy people in the Islamic world by the Kingdom in cooperation with the Jeddah-based Islamic Development bank (IDB). The shipment comprised 900 bags each containing about 35 pounds of frozen meat.
