King Fahd undergoes cataract operation in Geneva

The Royal Court announced today that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz underwent a successful cataract operation this morning in his right eye at the Geneva University Hospital.  Meanwhile, King Fahd received at his Geneva residence last Friday King of Bahrain Shaikh Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, who expressed condolences on the deaths of Prince Ahmed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Prince Sultan bin Faisal bin Turki al-Saud. In attendance was Governor of Riyadh Province Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz. During the meeting, they reviewed international developments, especially in the Middle East, as well as bilateral relations. King Fahd and Shaikh Hamad reiterated their support for the Palestinian cause and the right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state with Al-Quds [East Jerusalem] as its capital.
