Ban on import of meat from Iran, India and Taiwan

The Ministry of Commerce has issued a temporary ban on the import of all kinds of chilled, frozen, and canned meat from sheep and cattle originating from Iran, India and Taiwan. This decision was taken in light of reports by the World Health Organization (WHO) and in view of the occurrence of foot-and-mouth disease in these three countries.
