Saudi investment seminar held in Tokyo

The Saudi Embassy in Japan held a seminar yesterday in Tokyo on investment in the Kingdom, in collaboration with Japan's Center for Cooperation with the Middle East, its Foreign Ministry, and its Ministry for Trade and Industry, and a number of interested Japanese companies. The seminar was attended by Governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) Prince Abdullah bin Faisal bin Turki, who noted that the new investment system allows foreign investors to own entire projects, and urged Japanese companies to benefit from this. He pointed out that Saudi Arabia maintains good relations with respected governments in the world, offers a large market, and an increasing work force. There are, he said, investment opportunities in the sectors of energy, water, telecommunications, and railways.
