Private colleges in Taif to be named for Prince Sultan

Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, has approved the naming of the private colleges to be set up in Taif 'Sultan University Colleges', and has agreed to be their honorary president. The project calls for colleges of medicine, applied medical sciences, data technology, and business administration, and will initially accommodate about 5,000 students. Assistance with syllabus preparation is coming from the University of Arizona as well as the Federation of American Universities. Also involved are the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran, the Arab Gulf University in Manama, and Bahrain's College of Health Sciences.
