Shura Council endorses agreements and systems

The Consultative Council (Majlis Al-Shura) yesterday endorsed agreements with a number of countries and international organizations, including a cooperation agreement with the State of Malaysia encouraging and protecting investments, and the declaration of principles on cooperation on duty-free zones between countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and those of the European Union. The Council also approved a regulation system for private laboratories in the areas of health, agriculture and industry. Today, the Shura Council approved the new communications system prior to its submission to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz.
