Crown Prince Abdullah meets with Arafat in Egypt

Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz met with Palestinian President Yasser Arafat in Alexandria, Egypt yesterday. They discussed the impasse in the Middle East peace process, and ways of preserving the Arab character of Al-Quds and liberating all occupied Arab lands. Crown Prince Abdullah arrived in Alexandria yesterday on a state visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt. He was received at the airport by Egyptian President Muhammad Hosni Mubarak, Prime Minister Atef Obeid, and other high-ranking Egyptian officials, and later held talks with President Mubarak, discussing bilateral relations as well as reviewing developments in the Arab arena, notably the Middle East situation.
