Committe on WTO meets in Jeddah

Interior Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, who is also head of the ministerial committee concerned with the Kingdom's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), yesterday chaired a meeting of the committee in Jeddah during which he stressed the importance of understanding the conditions required, adding that negotiations for joining WTO should be in accordance with the country's inalienable principles and a very clear strategy.

Committee members include Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Justice Dr. Abdullah Al-AsShaikh, Minister of Commerce Osama Faqih, and Minister of Finance and National Economy Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, together with ministers of state and cabinet members Dr. Muhammad Al-AsShaikh, Dr. Mutlab Al-Nafeesa, and Dr. Musaed Al-Eiban.
