Prince Sultan funds U.S. nursing program

Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz has donated U.S. $ 1.8 million to the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. The funds are to be used for a program in which Saudi students are being trained. There are currently ten Saudi students enrolled in the program, with six more scheduled to start in the fall. They will pursue graduate as well as undergraduate degrees to prepare them for careers in health care. A similar donation was made in 1995.
