Prince Sultan holds talks with Yemeni leaders

Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, who arrived in Sanaa yesterday for a three-day state visit to the Republic of Yemen, was received last night by President of Yemen Ali Abdullah Saleh. The official Saudi delegation accompanying him includes Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Deputy Interior Minister Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, and a number of cabinet ministers, ministers of state, and other high-ranking officials.

The 13th session of the Saudi-Yemeni Coordination Council began yesterday evening under the chairmanship of Prince Sultan and Yemeni Prime Minister Abdulqadir Bajamal. Prince Sultan declared that the meeting reflects the strong relations between the two countries, which, he said, are not the result of the border treaty, but the cause of it, and are based on faith, brotherhood, and neighborliness.
Meanwhile, Minister of Information Dr. Fouad Al-Farsi met today with Yemeni information minister Hussein Al-Awadhi to discuss topics pertaining to the imminent signing of an executive program on information cooperation.
