King Abdullah of Jordan on brief visit to Riyadh

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz received in Riyadh yesterday evening King Abdullah of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, who arrived earlier on a brief visit to the Kingdom. Their talks covered bilateral relations as well as regional developments, notably the current situation in Afghanistan and the Middle East peace process, confirming the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with Al-Quds as its capital. King Abdullah also met with Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and reviewed with him the Saudi-Jordanian role in the ongoing international anti-terrorism efforts and the collective endeavors to  remove injustice and enhance the pillars of global security and stability.
