Shura Council condemns attacks on U.S.

At its regular meeting chaired by Shaikh Muhammad bin Jubair, the Consultative Council (Majlis Al-Shura) today condemned the regrettable and inhuman attacks on the United States last week, and offered condolences to the families of the victims. The Council expressed its grief and pain for what happened, stressing that these attacks contradict all principles and norms and are rejected by Islam, as by all divine religions. Islam, it noted, specifically calls for tolerance and cordiality amongst people, and renounces all forms of terrorism targeting the innocent, including Zionist terrorism against the Palestinian people.
