King Fahd orders relief aid for Afghans

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz today issued directives that relief aid be sent to the Afghani people. The aid, worth U.S. $ 10 million, comprises foodstuffs, medicines and clothes, and will go directly to those in need in the civil-war-stricken Asian country.  The gesture comes within the framework of the Kingdom's support for the brotherly people in Afghanistan to alleviate their sufferings as a result of the increased number of refugees.
