Prince Sultan visits Jordan

After completing his customary inspection tour of the armed forces in the Eastern Province, Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz paid a state visit to Jordan. Leaving Amman today, he sent a cable of thanks to King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, who awarded him the Al-Nahdhah [renaissance] Medal, first class, at a dinner reception yesterday. Speaking at a press conference following his luncheon meeting yesterday with Jordanian Prime Minister Ali Abu Al-Ragheb, Prince Sultan declared that relations between the two countries "are constantly growing. We are one country and one people in the service of our religion, Arab causes, and the interests of our peoples".
