SAA resumes flights to Tehran

Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) yesterday marked resumption of flights to Iran with a ceremony in Tehran attended by SAA's Director-General Dr. Khalid Abdullah bin Bakr. This resumption will contribute to the Kingdom's pilgrim service. Worldwide, 750,000 pilgrims are expected to travel on SAA this year, 100,000 more that last year.

Meanwhile, SAA signed an agreement in Tehran today with the Iranian Hajj organization concerning transportation of pilgrims from Iran for the 1421 H pilgrimage [scheduled for early in March 2001].
