Kingdom to participate in economic forum in Switzerland

Saudi Arabia will participate in the international economic forum to be held in Davos in Switzerland from January 25 through 30, 2001. The Kingdom's delegation will be headed by Governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) Prince Abdullah bin Faisal bin Turki, and will include Minister of Finance and National Economy Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, and Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Al-Naimi. The forum, under the title "Drawing a map for the world's future", will discuss issues pertaining to the adverse impact of globalization. The Kingdom's participation in it will help correct some wrong concepts, and highlight Saudi Arabia's positive role as regard to stabilization of the global energy market.
