SAA wins in-flight services award for third time

For the third time, the in-flight services department of Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) has received an award from the air industry's trade magazine. Over 250 international aviation, catering, and tourism companies in addition to duty-free markets participated in the contest. The 2001 award went to SAA for its introduction of a system of in-flight currency exchange, the first airline to offer such a service. Passengers on board SAA's international flights are able to convert their currency to that of the country the plane is bound for.
