Jenadriyah Festival holds eighth Qur'anic contest

At the King Faisal Conference Hall in Riyadh today, Deputy Commander of the National Guard Prince Met'eb bin Abdulaziz presented the prizes at the eighth Qur'an reading context held in conjunction with the Jenadriyah National Festival of Culture and Heritage. This year there were 273 contestants representing schools run by the National Guard, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowment, Call and Guidance, and the Ministry of Defense and Aviation, as well as the Ministry of Education. In a speech on the occasion, Islamic Affairs Minister Shaikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Ashaikh stressed the Kingdom's application of Qur'anic principles in all its affairs, and urged everyone to learn the Qur'an by heart.
