Venezuelan, South African Presidents on State visits to Kingdom

On his arrival in the Kingdom on Saturday, visiting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Hugo Chavez Frias was received by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz and held talks that were attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and other officials. Yesterday, President Chavez visited the Ministry of Planning, where he was briefed on the Seventh Five-Year Development Plan; the Health Affairs Office at the National Guard; and the King Abdulaziz National Museum. Today, the Venezuelan delegation visited Jubail Industrial City.

 

Meanwhile, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz received today President of the Republic of South Africa Thabo Mbeki who arrived in Riyadh yesterday evening on a two-day state visit to the Kingdom. President Mbeki also held talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and toured the King Abdulaziz Historical Center in Riyadh.
