Saudi-Yemeni business council to be set up

An agreement was signed in Sana'a today between the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Yemeni Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry for the establishment of the Saudi-Yemeni Business Council. The agreement, in effect as from Sunday February 25, 2001, aims at enhancing economic relations between the two countries and facilitating mutual investment opportunities. Chairman of the Saudi Council Isma'il Abu-Dawood stressed the need for cooperation and partnership in order to face the phenomenon of globalization.
