Official statement on incident of Jordanian plane

A 320 Airbus of Jordanian Royal Airlines, flight 606 from Amman to Manama, made an emergency landing at Qassim regional airport yesterday following a message indicating the presence of a bomb on board set to explode within 45 minutes. A thorough inspection of the plane, its passengers and their luggage, revealed the threat as a hoax. Meanwhile, all passengers were provided with the necessary facilities for their comfort. An official source at the Ministry of Defense and Aviation stated that the plane left Qassim early this morning with its 71 passengers and 12 crew.
