Royal Decree endorses Saudi-Yemeni border agreement

A Royal Decree was issued today endorsing the agreement on the final and permanent borders on both land and sea between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Yemen. The agreement was signed on June 12, 2000, following a historic meeting in Jeddah where Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz received Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh. The agreement has already been approved by the Council of Ministers and the Consultative Council (Majlis Al-Shura) as well as by Yemen's cabinet and council of representatives.
