New Saudi school planned for Rome

The Ministry of Education has announced plans to set up a new Saudi school in Rome, Italy, as part of the Kingdom's efforts to provide Arab and Muslims overseas with quality Islamic education. There are currently 17 Saudi academies and schools in Asia, Africa, and North America as well as Europe, with a total of over 5,000 students. The first meeting of directors of Saudi schools and academies abroad is to be held in Taif on July 18.
