Arab League condemns India, Israel for nuclear cooperation

The League of Arab States has accused India and Israel of seeking to develop nuclear ties, and warned of the consequences of that for the Arab world. Last Thursday, the Arab League complained to India's Ambassador to Egypt about statements made recently by Indian Minister of Home Affairs Shri Lal Krishna Advani, who allegedly pledged India's support for increased nuclear cooperation with Israel during a visit to that country on June 14. The Arab League urges its 22 member states to take appropriate measures in the light of the dangers posed to Arab national security by the development of Indian-Israeli relations in nuclear and technical fields.
