Saudi leaders offer condolences to Bahraini Emir

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of

the National Guard Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of

Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz personally expressed their

condolences to Bahraini Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa on the crash of a Gulf Air plane off the

coast of Manama yesterday with the loss of all aboard, including Bahrainis, Egyptians, Palestinians and

Emiratis as well as Saudis. They also sent condolence cables to President Hosni Mubarak of the Arab

Republic of Egypt, President Arafat of Palestine, and President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Zaid bin

Sultan Al-Nahayan. Saudi Arabia had already offered its full assistance in the search and rescue

operations.
