Kingdom opens fund for Palestinian victims of Israeli aggression

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz has ordered the opening of a fund for

Palestinian victims of Israeli aggression, inaugurating it with a personal donation of SR 30 million [U.S. $

8 million]. This was announced yesterday during the visit to wounded Palestinians at King Faisal Specialist

Hospital by Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard Crown Prince Abdullah bin

Abdulaziz, who made a personal donation of SR 10 million [U.S. $ 2.67 million].

Urging citizens and residents to deposit their donations in the accounts set up in a number of the

Kingdom's commercial banks, Governor of Riyadh Province Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz today commented

on the vicious massacres committed by the occupying Israeli forces in Palestine, saying: "The Palestinian

people have been bravely confronting this savage Israeli attack, defending their legitimate rights and the

Islamic sanctuaries." He went on to say: "The leadership and people of this country are accustomed to

unwavering support of their Palestinian brethren, and it is expected that citizens and residents will extend

all possible assistance to them so as to enable them to confront this vicious aggression, continue their

heroic resistance, and abort the plots hatched for the desecration of the Islamic sanctuaries in Jerusalem."
