Saudi-U.S. Business Council on Prince Sultan's visit

Executive Director of the U.S.-Saudi Business Council Medlej Al-Medlej commented yesterday on the great attention given by Saudi and American businessmen to the speech by Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz during his recent four-day official visit to the United States of America.  He said that the speech, on the occasion of a reception organized by the Business Council in Washington DC, provided strong indicators of the importance being extended by the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz to the private sector, and to economic relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States.  He referred to Prince Sultan's remarks hinting at modifications in regulations that will facilitate foreign trade and encourage foreign investment in the Kingdom, saying: "We in the U.S.-Saudi Business Council are looking forward to the issuance of these regulations."  He went on to describe Prince Sultan's patronage of the reception as a strong impetus for the Council and its members.
