Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) has announced two moves to improve services to Lebanon. Fares on
pilgrims' flights from Beirut during this Hajj season will be reduced, in coordination with Lebanon's
Middle East Airlines (MEA); and SAA plans next summer to increase to nine the number of regular
weekly flights between the two countries, with additional flights for Saudi tourists and for Lebanese and
Saudi businessmen to be arranged between SAA and MEA.
These announcements were made today at the opening of SAA's new ticket offices and cargo facilities at
Beirut's international airport by Director-General Dr. Khalid Bin Abdullah Bakr.
