Hajj delegation from Iraq part of Kingdom's preparations

An official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated yesterday that it is customary to receive the heads of Hajj delegations from various countries in order to discuss arrangements for their pilgrims; that the Hajj delegation from Iraq has been welcomed within this framework; and that there is no political dimension about this issue.
Meanwhile, it was announced today that a plot of land has been allocated for the construction of a general hospital to provide first aid and medical services to pilgrims.  The 500-bed hospital is to be built at the midpoint of the ring road south of Aziziyah, between the road to Muzdalifah and the Makkah-Taif highway. As soon as the design is finalized, the project will be offered for tender.
