The Royal Court announced today that according to the supreme judicial council the crescent moon of the lunar month of Dhu Al-Hajjah was sighted yesterday evening from different locations in the Kingdom. Today, Thursday, March 18, is therefore the first day of the month of Dhu Al-Hajjah in accordance with the Um Al-Qu'ra calendar. The Day of Standing at Arafat will be on Friday, March 26 (Dhu Al-Hajjah 9) and the Eid Al-Adha will be on Saturday, March 27 (Dhu Al-Hajjah 10).
