Kingdom continues to send relief to Kosovar refugees

In line with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz to extend support to the refugees from Kosovo, a plane left Riyadh today for Tirana, Albania, carrying seven tons of medical supplies and five tons of foodstuffs to be distributed to the Kosovar refugees.
Meanwhile, the delegation of the joint Saudi committee for the relief of the people of Kosovo, led by Chairman of the Saudi Red Crescent Society Dr. Abdelrahman Al-Suweilem, left Tirana yesterday after supervising and following up the operation of airlifted relief materials. The delegation had met with a number of Albanian officials and representatives of international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Higher Commission for Refugees (UNHCR).
