A steering committee chaired by Undersecretary for Cultural Affairs at the Ministry of Education Dr. Ibrahim Bin Abdulaziz Al-Shiddi held its first meeting today to formulate plans for a celebration scheduled for the year 2000, and announced that Riyadh is scheduled to be the Arab Cultural Capital for that year.
