General Saleh Bin Ali Al-Muhaya, Chief of the General Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces, was given a warm welcome yesterday in a Joint Services Full Honors Arrival Ceremony hosted by U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Henry H. Shelton, on the front lawn of the Pentagon. He then met at the headquarters of the U.S. Department of Defense with Secretary of Defense William Cohen.

Later, General Shelton hosted a private dinner party at his residence in honor of General Al-Muhaya and his accompanying delegation.  The party was attended by Ambassador Ahmed Kattan, director of the office of Saudi Ambassador to the United States Prince Bandar Bin Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz.
