Royal Decrees change composition of Cabinet

Royal decrees issued today made changes in the composition of the Council of Ministers, establishing a new Ministry of Civil Service, extending the period of service for most ministers and appointing a number of new ministers, effective as from the date of issuance.  Royal decrees also appointed new, and extended the service of, officials at the highest grade in various government bodies. 

The cabinet is composed as follows:


The cabinet has the following new members:


• Muhammad Bin Ali Al-Fayez as the Minister of Civil Service

• Sheikh Saleh Bin Abdulaziz Al-Asheikh as the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance

• Iyad Bin Ameen Madani as the Minister of Pilgrimage

• Khalid Bin Muhammad Al-Qusaibi as the Minister of Planning
• Dr. Ali Bin Ibrahim Al-Namlah as the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs

Additional decrees included the appointment of Dr. Abdullah Bin Muhammad Al-Rasheed as President of King Khalid University, and that of Dr. Muhammad Bin Saad al-Salem as President of the Imam Muhammad Bin Saud University.
